How to become a Firefighter for Dike Fire Rescue
First a short application needs to be filled out and can be obtained from any member of the fire department. Next the application goes before the membership at the following regular monthly meeting. After that a screening committee interviews the applicant. Finally the applicant is voted on at the following monthly meeting and becomes a member after the city council approves them at their next meeting. The entire process usually takes two months.
